The Opportunity

We are recruiting a committed Key Stage 1 Teacher for a friendly and inclusive primary school in Southport. This long-term role offers the chance to make a real impact on pupils’ early education while benefiting from consistent work until July 2026.

Main Duties

• Full responsibility for a KS1 classroom

• Planning creative and structured lessons aligned with the curriculum

• Supporting early reading, writing and numeracy development

• Monitoring attainment and adapting teaching strategies

• Upholding safeguarding and school policies at all times

Essential Criteria

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Experience teaching KS1 within a UK primary school

• Strong classroom management skills

• A nurturing and enthusiastic teaching style
