Location: Wirral (CH47)

Start Date: April 2026

Contract- Full-time

Rate of Pay: From £125 to £232.56 per day

We are excited to announce that we are currently working with a welcoming primary school who are seeking to recruit a Year 6 Teacher. This is a great opportunity for someone who is keen to take on a new challenge and has a passion for making a difference to the children’s educational journeys.

Role and responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons to a class of Year 6 pupils in line with the National curriculum.
  • Create an exciting and welcoming learning space for all pupils which will support their social, emotional and academic growth.
  • Ability to work open and collaboratively with other colleagues within the school setting.
  • Ability to provide feedback to both parents and external agencies.
  • Consistently assess and track pupils progress to ensure targets are being met and highlight if they are not being met, what actions can be taken.

What are we looking for:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching KS2 or ideally a previous Year 6 class.
  • Good communication, confidence and good behaviour management skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
