Key Stage 2 Teacher - Northumberland

Teaching Personnel are looking to appoint a Key Stage 2 Teacher for a Middle School in Northumberland on a Part Time basis. The school are looking to enhance their team across their primary and secondary phases and in order to achieve this, they need ambitious individuals who are passionate about teaching and learning.

The role of a Key Stage 2 Teacher is a highly rewarding one yet on occasion challenging role. There are a few SEN pupils within the middle school, therefore prior experience and strong behaviour management is essential. The school are keen to receive applications from people with pre-existing experience in education and will consider both fully and newly qualified Teachers.

The role specifically involves teaching multiple subjects across KS2. The part-time position is due to start immediately and will last until the end of the academic year. However, this may be extended into the new school year for the right candidate.

Skills and experience you will need in order to be successful in the role:

  • Supportive, patient and non-judgemental approach to teaching
  • Passion for teaching with experience teaching KS2
  • Strong behaviour management
  • SEN experience
  • Good communicator who is able adapt their style to sensitively meet the needs of all learners
  • Experience in managing groups of children in different environments

What can Teaching Personnel offer you?

  • This role could provide a suitable level of experience to support an application to their School Direct Initial Teacher Training (ITT) Programme (both Salaried and Training) or other opportunities in the field of education
  • Weekly pay between £500 - £850
