Key Stage 2 Teacher

Teaching Personnel are currently working in partnership with a primary school to recruit an experienced KS2 Primary Teacher in Portsmouth for a two term contract to start in January 2018

The School

The school is a developing school on the outskirts of Portsmouth. They are a two for entry school with an average of 28 children in each class. They have a low turn over of staff and regular CPD opportunities for all members of the staffing body. The headteacher takes an active role within the school, offering guidence and support across all areas of school life.

Your new role
You will be responsible for planning and delivering exciting lessons that encourage children to learn in line with the National Curriculum. You will also become part of a successful KS2 team and work proactively with LSA's and Teaching assistant to encourage pupils to develop and flourish.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have previous recent experience teaching in KS2 and be available to start and commit to a two term contact starting in January 2018

What the school are looking for

The school are looking for a fully qualified teacher who has experience of SATs within Key Stage 2 as well as the assessment across Key Stage 2. They are looking for someone who is able to embody the ethos of the school and embace the school culture.
