Teaching Personnel require Key Stage 2 Teachers!

We are working with 2 primary schools in North Yorkshire (Malton and Pickering) who require teachers for both short and long term work.

Malton

A small rural school are looking for a Key Stage 2 Teacher to work within their close nit team. You will work in a Year 4,5,6 class and take full class responsibility. The school require someone on a 0.8 basis, working Monday to Thursday.

As this is a small school, the Headteacher requires someone who has experience of working within these year groups and who can 'hit the ground running' with little to no guidance. This position is open to Newly Qualified Teachers who have the required experience.

This position is to start in June until the end of the academic year, with the possibility of the role continuing into the new academic year.

You should be confident in planning and assessing for these specific year groups and have an understanding of the the North Yorkshire Curriculum.

The headteacher is working exclusively with Teaching Personnel on this position!

Pickering

A large primary school are working with Teaching Personnel to recruit Key Stage 2 Specialist teachers who will be able to provide them with short term, day to day supply.

The school require people who can effectively become a member of their team throughout these short periods and be an effective teacher and leader for pupils throughout this time. The school hold high expectations in making sure that pupils achieve their best, and this is done through effective planning and teaching.

As a teacher providing short term supply at this school, you must effectively follow the planning that has been left, or provide planning that is suitable for the year group that you are supporting and is in line with the curriculum. You should also follow marking policies and provide effective feedback in order for teaching and planning to be effectively continued.

This school are working closely with Teaching Personnel and come to us for all of there supply requirements, so there is the opportunity to undertake longer term cover when the need arises.
