KS1 Teaching Assistant – Full-Time

Pay: £13.75 per hour

Are you passionate about supporting young children in their early years of learning? A welcoming and inclusive primary school in the Penwortham area of Preston is seeking a dedicated KS1 Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis from September 2025.

About the Role:

• Full-time hours (Monday to Friday, during term time)
• Supporting children across Key Stage 1 (Years 1 and 2)
• Working closely with the class teacher and SEN staff to ensure every child thrives
• Creating a positive, nurturing learning environment for all pupils

What We’re Looking For:

• Ideally, experience working with KS1 pupils in a school setting
• A caring, patient, and enthusiastic attitude
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Relevant qualifications and/or TA training (desirable but not essential)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
