Are you a committed and creative Key Stage 1 Teacher?
Do you have experience teaching Phonics programmes?
Teaching Personnel are seeking to appoint a Key Stage 1 Specialist to teach a mixed Year 1 and Year 2 class at an Ofsted graded 'Good' School. This is to start as soon as possible, or after the Easter half term for the right person. The post will include the same responsibilities as permanent members of staff, including planning, assessments and tracking progress.
The School provides education for pupils that have been excluded from mainstream education, or are unable to cope with a full time timetable. This could be down to having a diagnosis of autism (ASC), anxiety or mental health needs (SEMH) or that they have just moved into county and are awaiting a School placement (Looked after Children).
The position is open to NQT's or Fully Qualified Teachers. The pay rate is fair and competitive and ranges from £110 to £140 per day. Please note that for NQT's it will be between £100 and £110 per day.
Teaching Personnel are looking for someone who:
- Has recent experience differenitating lessons plans according to ability
- Is creative and inventive and can engage and motivate pupils through planning and delivering engaging lessons
- Can push their pupils to achieve the best outcomes both academically and for personal development
In return, the School and Teaching Personnel can offer you:
- A supportive Senior Leadership Team
- The opportunity to experience a rewarding position, possibly leading to a permanent/fixed term contract
- A community feel within the School, with all staff members friendly and welcoming
Is this the type of position you are looking for? If so, please call Kerry Fowler at Teaching Personnel on 01482 908020 or please send your up to date CV by following the below link!
