This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident, adaptable teacher who enjoys teaching across Year 1 and Year 2, delivering engaging lessons, and supporting children’s learning and development in a positive and nurturing environment.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a teacher who brings enthusiasm, flexibility, and a passion for early learning. You will need:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent experience teaching in a Key Stage 1 setting.
- A solid understanding of the KS1 curriculum and effective classroom practice.
- Excellent classroom management and the ability to engage pupils from day one.
- A caring, creative approach to supporting children’s learning and development.
- Reliability, organisation, and confidence when adapting to different school environments.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.
Your Role
- Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons across Year 1 and Year 2 classes.
- Support children’s academic and emotional development, ensuring continuity of learning.
- Follow school policies and uphold positive behaviour management strategies.
- Adapt to different classrooms and routines with professionalism and flexibility.
- Work collaboratively with staff and leadership teams to contribute to each school’s ethos and success.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
