Do you have previous experience working as an ICT Technician within a school or similar environment? If so, this exciting opportunity to join a secondary school in south Manchester could be ideal for you, working as a Technician alongside a longstanding Network Manager on a full time and potentially permanent basis.

Teaching Personnel work in partnership with a trust of local secondary schools and due to expansion, a vacancy has arisen for a suitably qualified ICT Technician to join this modern and well facilitated academy on a full time basis from September 2019. Situated in south Manchester, the school has good connecting transport links to the city centres and surrounding local areas (Altrincham, Chorlton, Manchester, Wythenshawe).

• Full time post from September 2019
• Previous experience as an Technician required for applicants
• Will be supported by the Network manager, opportunities to progress
• £19,500 - £21,200 per annum and working all year round (Grade 4)
• Less than 10 minutes commute to central Manchester, free on site parking

Situated in a multi-cultural community of south Manchester, this is a rapidly up and coming secondary school with a growing reputation. Our client school seek a dedicated individual who will be fully committed to role of ICT Technician, reporting to the Network manager and supporting the schools ICT service for all staff and students. You will be knowledgeable of ICT and the regular updates within education, playing an important role in the development of IT throughout the academy, previous experience within a school is desirable but not essential, you will be required to undertake Safeguarding training without a prior qualification to be successfully appointed.
