ICT Teacher - Oldham

Are you an inspirational ICT Teacher looking for your next role? Do you want to work at a 'Good' school in Oldham that is passionate about the development of their staff?

Teaching Personnel, the market leader of education recruitment, are currently working in partnership with a secondary school in Oldham that are seeking to appoint an ICT Teacher from September 2019. Initially on a temporary contract as an introduction to the role, there is a gap in the department for the ideal candidate to turn this into a permanent role. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT) to start their career at a 'Good' secondary school in Oldham, as well as a chance for experienced teachers to take the next step in their career.

  • Full time Teacher of ICT required for a 'Good' secondary school in Oldham
  • Temporary contract initially (September 2019 - July 2020)
  • Teaching ICT up to KS4 level
  • Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs) encouraged to apply
  • Pay in line with MPS and UPS (£23,720-£39,406)

Our partner secondary located in the Greenfield area of Oldham were again rated as 'Good' by Ofsted in 2018, as they continue on their journey to become 'Outstanding'. The successful candidate will be joining a popular and oversubscribed mixed comprehensive secondary school that is passionate about the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) of their staff. The school have an excellent NQT provision in place to support Newly Qualified Teachers through their induction period.

"Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is an established but growing curriculum area; we are looking to appoint a specialist teacher as this is a popular subject at our school with numbers growing steadily and with good results. We are looking to appoint a dedicated and innovative teacher to join the team from September 2019." Headteacher.

Prospective candidates should ideally have experience teaching ICT up to KS4 level, in particular BTEC courses. Experience or the ability to teach Business Studies is also desirable but not essential for applicants to this post.
