Job description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated ICT Teacher to join our thriving secondary school in Heywood this November. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated educator to inspire students, foster digital skills, and contribute to a forward-thinking department.

he Role:

  • Deliver engaging and creative ICT lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and Key Stage 5 if appropriate).

  • Support students in developing essential digital literacy and computing skills.

  • Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum.

  • Contribute to extracurricular ICT and computing activities.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to raise achievement and ensure high standards.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

  • Strong subject knowledge in ICT and Computing.

  • A passion for teaching and motivating young people.

  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

  • Commitment to professional development and contributing to whole-school life.
