Job description

Computing Teacher

We are seeking a passionate and qualified Computing Teacher to join the dynamic team at a client secondary school. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computing and information technology, with the ability to engage students in both theoretical concepts and practical applications. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of our students while working within a collaborative and forward-thinking educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging lessons in computing that cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their learning journey.
  • Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience at the academy.

Qualifications:

  • A recognized teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent).
  • Strong knowledge of computing subjects including programming, digital literacy, and IT skills.
  • Previous teaching experience is preferred but not essential; newly qualified teachers are encouraged to apply.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
