Job Title: ICT Teacher

Location: West Midlands, West Midlands, Birmingham

Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours

Primary Industry: Education and Training

Salary: £150 - £230 Per day

Qualifications: PGCE, PGDE

Skills: Ability to teach ICT up to Key Stage 4, Strong knowledge on the Year 10 and 11 Curriculum, Strong knowledge of the exam content for Computer Science, Able to teach BTEC and Pearson Level 1 and 2, Computer Science background, QTS or a Further Education degree

Essential Requirements: Available ASAP, Available full time, DBS on the Update Service

Job Duties:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging ICT lessons up to Key Stage 4
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the Year 10 and 11 Curriculum
  • Teach exam content for Computer Science effectively
  • Instruct and assess students in BTEC and Pearson Level 1 and 2 qualifications
  • Utilise your Computer Science background to enhance teaching

Required Qualifications:

  • PGCE or PGDE
  • QTS or a Further Education degree
  • DBS on the Update Service

Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Experience teaching ICT at Key Stage 4 level
  • Thorough knowledge of Year 10 and 11 Curriculum
  • Understanding of exam content for Computer Science
  • Ability to teach BTEC and Pearson Level 1 and 2 qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional qualifications in Education
  • Experience in a similar teaching role

Working Conditions:

  • Temporary position with full-time hours
  • Based in West Midlands, Birmingham

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
