Job description

Job Title: ICT Teacher

Location: Birmingham

Job Type: Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours

 

Salary:

£155 - £200 Per day

Job Duties:

Teach ICT to students at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 levels

Plan and deliver engaging lessons to a class size of up to 30 students

Mark and provide feedback on students' work to support their learning and progression

Utilise ICT resources effectively to enhance teaching and learning experiences

Monitor and assess student progress, providing additional support where necessary

Required Qualifications:

PGCE in ICT

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Enhanced DBS on the update service

Education:

BA honours degree in ICT or a similar field

Experience:

Previous experience teaching ICT at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 levels

Knowledge and Skills:

Strong communication skills

Ability to effectively teach and engage students in ICT subjects

Proficiency in ICT tools and software

Excellent planning and organisation skills

Working Conditions:

This role involves working in a school environment, following the school term calendar

Full-time hours with occasional requirement for extra-curricular activities or parent meetings

Collaboration with colleagues and parents to support student learning and development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
