Role Overview:
As a Humanities Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality and engaging lessons across various humanities disciplines, including History, Geography, and Religious Studies. You will be responsible for creating dynamic lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles, effectively managing classroom dynamics, and providing constructive feedback to support student progress. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the school's extracurricular activities and educational initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver comprehensive lessons that align with the national curriculum and school objectives.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters intellectual curiosity and critical thinking.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of individual students and ensure academic progress for all learners.
- Assess student performance through formative and summative assessments and provide timely feedback.

- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and behavior.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant humanities subject (History, Geography, Religious Studies, etc.).
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
- Proven experience teaching humanities subjects at the secondary level.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage students and build positive relationships.
- Dedication to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
