Humanities Future Teachers - Luton

I am looking for Graduates of Humanities subjects who are looking to get into teaching at secondary schools in the Luton area.

If you are a Graduate who has specialised in any of the following subjects; Geography, History, Religious Studies or Art and Design, then we can offer you the opportunities that can pathway you into a career in teaching.

I am looking for Graduates who are looking to gain experience in support capacity in working towards training as a teacher as part of our future teachers programme.

Through the 'Future Teachers Programme', successful graduates are placed in primary, secondary or special schools for up to a year. Over the course of the placement, graduates will undertake a range of tasks from supporting student learning through one-to-one tuition to planning lessons for a class. Through every new experience, you will be supported by the school's senior leadership team and, if you decide teacher training is your next step, we can give you the information you need to decide which route to qualification is most suitable.

Previous teaching, tuition or support experience is desired but not necessary.

To be considered for this role, you will be required to:
- Have a DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
- Be able to provide two references from the last 6 years.

All candidates are required to complete a Safeguarding course through Teaching Personnel, or provide a relevant safeguarding certificate during your registration process.
