Would you like to work in an oversubscribed Secondary School with Ofsted rated ‘Good’?

We are looking for a passionate History teacher who has high standards of teaching and learning and will be able to secure good and outstanding progress and attainment across both key stages.

“We believe that students achieve the best standards possible where committed teachers and parents are seen to be working together and where they all share high expectations, both at school and at home.” – Head Teacher.

This Ofsted rated ‘Good’ school is in Northampton; they are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic teacher to join the Humanities department.

  • You would be teaching across the key stages: KS3 – KS5.
  • Starting in September the role is maternity cover; there may then be the opportunity for a permeant position.
  • You will be joining a school that often exceeds national expectations for both results and teaching standards.
  • You will be joining an exciting and expanding department who run CPD sessions to enhance both their subject knowledge and teaching practice.

The school is in Northamptonshire; year after year is oversubscribed and is graded ‘Good’ by Ofsted.  This is a very popular school and there is a high chance this role will become a permeant position.  History is an extremely popular subject across both all key stages – the appointed teacher must guarantee they are enthusiastic about the subject and passionate about teaching.

This popular secondary school is a high performing 11-16 school with a thriving sixth form. The school values its diverse community and has over 1200 pupils on roll from a variety of cultures and backgrounds. Due to the school’s high standards of teaching and learning, it has consistently been graded as ‘Good’ and ‘Outstanding’. This Northampton based school has welcoming staff and eager pupils who create a positive learning environment for students and staff.

Are you the right teacher to join our team? If so, we would be delighted to hear from you. Please submit a copy of your CV or contact the Northants Secondary Branch for more information on 01604 376695.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see teachingpersonnel.com/faqs for details.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
