TEACHER OF HISTORY NEEDED TO COVER A MATERNITY POSITION

  • Full-time role starting ASAP
  • NQT's and FQT's urged to apply
  • Salary between £25,420-£37,124 (negotiable dependant on experience)

This is an open vacancy for a History teacher to join a well organised and successful Humanities department on a full-time basis from September 2017. Available due to a maternity absence, the Head Teacher is happy to consider applications from any Humanities Teachers, with experience of teaching History to GCSE level (AQA).

This large high school, enrolling just under 1000 pupils, is situated in Preston, just off the M6 with direct links to the M65 & M61. The school has recently had a change of Headship and they are looking for a fresh, energetic and enthusiastic History Teacher to join their supportive team of staff and you will be given sufficient PPA time throughout your employment.

The post would be ideal for a Humanities teacher who will ideally be able to deliver 'Good' teaching in their high achieving department. The school will accept applications from any teachers who are experienced teaching History to GCSE level (AQA).
