 KS1 Primary School Teacher – Blackburn
Start Date: After October Half Term 2025
Full-Time

A warm and welcoming primary school in Blackburn is seeking a KS1 Teacher to join their committed team starting after the October half term. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive school environment where pupils are eager to learn and staff are valued.

The Role:

  • Full-time teaching position in a Key Stage 1 classroom

  • Start date: Monday 3rd November 2025 (after October half term)

  • Delivering engaging, inclusive, and creative lessons in line with the national curriculum

  • Creating a nurturing classroom environment that promotes curiosity and confidence

  • Working collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and parents to support pupil progress

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – ECTs and experienced teachers both welcome

  • Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum

  • A caring, positive, and proactive approach to classroom teaching

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

  • A commitment to continuous professional development and teamwork

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
