Key Details: Start Date: September 2024 Location: Farnborough, Hampshire ⏰ Full-Time Position Teaching Key Stage 3 and 4 Longer-term position with potential transition to temp-to-perm
What You'll Do:
- Engage students with fascinating tales from the past, making history come alive through interactive and immersive lessons.
- Teach a diverse range of learners at both Key Stage 3 and 4, covering a wide range of historical periods and topics.
- Foster critical thinking and analytical skills in students, helping them understand the complexities of historical events and their impact on the world today.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the school's History curriculum, incorporating diverse perspectives and primary sources.
- Provide support and guidance to students, helping them develop a deeper appreciation for history and prepare for exams.
Who We're Looking For:
- Qualified History Teachers with experience teaching Key Stage 3 and/or 4.
- ECTs qualifying this year are encouraged to apply.
- Unqualified teachers with relevant experience or a passion for history are also welcome to apply.
- Enthusiastic individuals with a genuine love for history and a desire to inspire the next generation of historians.
- Strong communicators with excellent classroom management skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
