Are you a qualified higher level teaching assistant that is looking for flexible work? Teaching Personnel are education specialists in recruiting the best quality candidates to suit the needs of schools throughout South Wales. We are currently seeking to recruit exceptional candidates to join various exciting roles in our schools within the Newport/South East area.
Pay: GBP67-GBP75 per day dependent on experience
Location: Newport, Gwent
Hours: 08:30-15:30
Duration: Full Time (Monday – Friday)
Start Date: 03.05.2021
End Date: TBC
Main Responsibilities
- Leading small groups of pupils or the whole class.
- Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and leading intervention groups.
- Arranging classroom activities which will include planning and setting out resources.
- Providing verbal and written feedback on the classroom session for the teaching staff.
- Developing and motivating the pupils to help increase their learning progress.
- Occasionally attend staff meetings.

Essential Criteria
- Hold a higher-level teaching assistant qualification or equivalent and have experience of working in a school setting.
- You will need to hold an Enhanced Child Only DBS Certificate – full assistance provided.
- Be register with the EWC – full assistance provided.
- 2 Educational References.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
