Teaching Personnel are recruiting on behalf of a successful secondary school in Kirkham, for a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant specialising in Mathematics support.
We are seeking an ambitious and inspiring professional, that believes in transforming the lives and futures of the pupils. It is essential to ensure that every pupil, irrespective of background or level of ability, enjoys the support they need to achieve exceptional results.
The school have a clear ambition: a desire to deliver results as they combine their strong ethos and culture. The overall purpose of this role is to enable pupils to access the curriculum – specifically Mathematics.
Main activities and responsibilities:
- Delivering small group Maths interventions
- Taking a leading role in managing and delivering Mathematical support to students
- Developing methods of supporting students, in achieving success in Maths at KS3/4
- Building the confidence of students to engage and achieve in the subject
- Identifying and developing suitable pathways for students experiencing difficulty in engaging with the curriculum
