Job Title: Behaviour Support Officer
Location: Burnley, Lancashire
Pay Rate: £13.75 per hour
Contract Type: Full-Time
Are you passionate about making a difference in young people’s lives? We are currently seeking a dedicated and resilient Behaviour Support Officer to join a supportive school community in Burnley, Lancashire. This is a full-time role with an immediate start available for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:

Support students in managing their behaviour and engagement with learning.

Work closely with teaching staff, senior leaders, and pastoral teams.

Implement behaviour strategies and individual support plans.
-
Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with behavioural challenges.
-
Promote a positive and inclusive school environment.
-
Record and report incidents accurately and professionally.
Requirements:
-
Previous experience in a similar role or within a school setting.
-
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
-
A calm, patient, and consistent approach to behaviour management.
-
Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
-
A valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check or willingness to obtain one.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
