Health & Social Care Teacher – Blackpool
Full-Time | September 2026 Start
Teaching Personnel are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Health & Social Care Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Blackpool from September 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students and deliver high-quality Health & Social Care lessons across Key Stages 4 and 5. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing students' understanding of health, wellbeing, social care practices, and career pathways within the sector.
The Role
- Deliver engaging and effective Health & Social Care lessons to students across KS4 and KS5.
- Plan, prepare, and assess student work in line with curriculum requirements.
- Monitor student progress and provide targeted support to maximise achievement.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Contribute to the wider life of the department and school community.
- Maintain high standards of behaviour, attendance, and achievement.
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Has experience teaching Health & Social Care at secondary level.
- Possesses strong subject knowledge and a passion for the curriculum.
- Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills.
- Is committed to supporting students of all abilities to achieve their full potential.
- Has strong communication and organisational skills.
