Teacher – Guaranteed Work Scheme
Durham and Sunderland, £140–£160 per day, Flexible Supply
Teaching Personnel is recruiting teachers across all phases for its Guaranteed Work Scheme in Durham and Sunderland — a scheme that offers something most supply arrangements don't: guaranteed pay, regardless of whether a booking comes in that day.
It's a practical solution for teachers who want the variety and flexibility of supply work without the financial uncertainty that can come with it. You'll work across a range of schools in Durham and Sunderland, building familiarity with local settings and staff, with the added security of knowing your income is protected each week.
For teachers open to secondary settings, the scheme works particularly well — broader availability means more consistent placements and a stronger chance of securing something long-term if that's the direction you want to go.
What the scheme involves:
- Working across secondary schools in Durham and Sunderland
- Covering a range of year groups and phases depending on your background
- Delivering pre-set lessons or your own where appropriate
- Upholding safeguarding responsibilities in every setting
To be considered:
- QTS or equivalent
- Experience teaching within the UK curriculum across secondary
- A flexible, professional approach and willingness to work across different schools
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
