An innovative and forward thinking NAS accredited primary school in Hayes are looking for graduates with autism experience.

This Hayes based school thrives from the collaboration of creative, resilient staff alongside the dedicated senior leadership that allows each staff member to flourish, develop and utilise their skills. The school has 100% parent approval and is loved by staff, parents and pupils alike. This is an amazing graduate classroom assistant opportunity for those who are looking for great training, experience and development focused on special educational needs.

The learning support assistant role will involve in class and general support of primary aged pupils with autism and associated learning difficulties. The school focuses heavily on individual learning and behaviour plans to ensure that each pupil is able to achieve to their full potential. You will be required to be confident, innovative and open to learning/ continued development.

Requirements:

  • UK degree in Psychology, Sociology or relevant subject
  • Experience/interest supporting children with autism and learning difficulties
  • Commitment to 8:30 - 4:30pm hours Mon - Fri
  • Live in borough of Hillingdon or in West London (Hayes)
  • Confident in academic and social support of SEN pupils
  • Committed to long term temporary and permanent placement and continued development

This role is for a fixed academic from start date with permanent placement offered based on individual merit after the year completion.
