Learning Mentor

Primary School Enrichment and Learning Mentor – CF23

We are seeking a positive, creative and dedicated individual to join our primary school in CF23 as an Enrichment and Learning Mentor. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting pupils’ personal, social and academic development through engaging, hands-on learning experiences both in and out of the classroom.

Main Responsibilities:

• Work with children across all year groups to promote confidence, independence and engagement in learning.

• Plan and deliver small group or 1:1 interventions focused on wellbeing, confidence building, and social skills.

• Lead enrichment sessions such as outdoor learning, cooking, art, drama, or creative projects linked to the curriculum.

• Support the organisation of whole-school activities, themed days and after-school clubs.

• Work closely with class teachers and the wider staff team to identify and support pupils who may need additional guidance.

• Contribute to creating a nurturing, inclusive and stimulating environment where all children can thrive.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is enthusiastic, caring and able to build positive relationships with children and colleagues.

• Can adapt quickly to different age groups and learning styles.

• Has a proactive attitude and enjoys contributing new ideas.

• Can remain calm, organised and professional in a busy school environment.

• Has experience working with children (in school or another setting).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
