Graduate Work Opportunity - Future Teacher Programme

Are you coming towards the end of your degree/studies and looking for support with a route into teaching?

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a number of schools in the Bexhill Area, in preparation for September 2019 and in collaboration with our Future Teachers programme. We have a number of Graduate Teaching Assistant/PPA Cover positions throughout our partner schools. We are looking for ambitious Graduates who are keen to pursue a career in teaching; this position is for an academic year as a Graduate Teaching Assistant/PPA Cover in which you will be fully supported as you prepare for teacher training and the teaching programme from September 2019.

• Graduate Teaching Assistant/PPA Cover, full time position from September 2019 for the academic year
• A set placement in one primary school preparing you for teacher training
• Induction process in the summer prior to September, regular training opportunities
• Train to become a primary teacher in a school
• Specifically designed to create a pathway into teaching for Graduates

This is a programme for an academic year and you will work as a Teaching Assistant/PPA Cover within the selected school. Responsibilities will include; supporting class teachers in lessons, leading small groups within the key stage, monitoring progress and attainment and reporting to class teachers. This is a graduate programme; you will be fully supported for an academic year and prepared to then begin your teacher training from September 2020. This is a successful method by the school to recruit Graduates and develop them to become outstanding teachers, we welcome applications from all Graduates keen to forge a career in teaching.
