**Year 5 Graduate Teaching Assistant - Small Group Intervention - ASAP start date**

If you are a Graduate with a Maths or and English specialism and are interested in working with children, then please read on!

This Ofsted rated 'Good' school is looking for a teaching assistant to join their team on a full time, short term basis.

The school is based in Rochdale (OL11) and is a 'smaller than average', one form school. The Head teacher is looking for someone who has experience working with children in small groups and also on a 1:1 basis. The Year 5 class are lovely and are really well behaved; the children are polite and are encouraged to do their very best.

About the School:

  • Rated as 'Good'
  • Excellent support system from Head teacher and Staff members
  • Children are really well behaved
  • Small 'family feel'
  • Easily accessible from M60 and accessible tram links

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Will have a Degree (2:2 or above)
  • Be passionate about working with children
  • Have a caring an nurturing approach whilst also being innovative and enthusiastic
  • Have some experience, paid or voluntary, of working with children in an educational setting

This full time teaching assistant position will start as soon as possible and will run until the end of the academic year. The opportunity to be made a permanent member of staff may be possible for the right candidate.
