Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a multi-school network in Manchester which is led by a National Teaching School to recruit for a number of graduate teaching assistants. This is more than just a position, working full time as a graduate TA before progressing on to a years teacher training programme in September 2019 to become a qualified teacher (in your subject area) by the summer of 2020. This designated future teachers programme combines paid work and gaining experience within a school setting, designed by TP and in partnership with our schools to nurture teachers and offer an alternative route in to teaching. We have opportunities within English, Maths and Science, plus second tier subjects (Humanities, Computing/ICT/Computer Science, Languages) in schools across Manchester and also the Blackburn area of Lancashire. Further information below;
- Graduate teaching assistant, immediate start if possible
- Second year (2019-2020) teacher training year, SCITT programme
- Fully supported by your designated school and the National Teaching School
- Opportunities in the Salford, Manchester and Lancashire areas
- Apply now for more information about the programme and next steps
Whether you have gained experience during your studies (or post graduation) within a classroom or with children, or have no experience to date, we welcome your application. This is an excellent programme designed by a National Teaching school, working as a graduate teaching assistant will give you first hand paid experience within a secondary school to fully understand the teaching profession and expectations each day.
Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with this network of schools to recruit graduates to this programme. If you would like to be considered and teaching is a career aspiration of yours, we welcome your application.
