Location: Clapham, Greater London, England
Salary: £85 - £100 Per day

Job Description:

- Assist Teaching Staff: Work alongside experienced educators to deliver engaging lessons and provide support to students.
- Personalized Support: Offer one-on-one assistance to students who need extra help, helping them achieve their academic goals.
- Resource Creation: Contribute to the development of educational materials and resources, making learning more interactive and enjoyable.
- Supervision: Monitor students during class and on school premises, ensuring a safe and conducive learning environment.
- Assessment: Assist in assessing student progress and maintaining accurate records to track their development.

Required Qualifications:

- Degree: Hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject, demonstrating your academic capability.
- Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students and colleagues.
- Passion for Education: Display a genuine enthusiasm for education and a desire to help students succeed.

Education and Experience:

- Bachelor's Degree: Minimum requirement in a related field.
- Experience: While prior experience in education is desirable, a willingness to learn and work with children or young adults is essential.

Knowledge and Skills:

- Educational Understanding: Basic knowledge of educational principles and practices, with a willingness to learn more.
- Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues in a supportive team environment.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills to manage various tasks efficiently.
- Empathy and Patience: Demonstrate patience and empathy when working with students, fostering a positive learning atmosphere.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Postgraduate Qualification: Possession of a postgraduate qualification in Education or a relevant field is advantageous.
- SEN Experience: Experience working with special educational needs (SEN) students is beneficial.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
