The Graduate role is fixed for an academic year to give you the opportunity to be trained, familiarised with the pupils, education framework and understand the school ethos/ policy. After the successful completion of the academic year you will then be given opportunities to progress in to a HLTA role or an SEN Teacher.

The role is to support secondary pupils with autism, moderate learning difficulties and Social Emotional and Mental Health difficulties as one-to-one, in small groups and generally. Successful graduates will be resilient, hard working and creative.   • Classes of up to 8 pupils with a teacher and additional support staff
  • 85% of pupils within school on the autism spectrum
  • Supporting pupils with individual learning plans - Maths, English, Science and Technology, Language and Communication
  • Supporting students with Individual Behaviour plans - devised with multi-agency and in-house specialists
  • Supporting pupils in class, across the school and out of class at break times
  • Full time Monday to Friday term time only - 8.00am -4.0pm (non-negotiable)

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
