Graduate Teaching Assistant

A school in Tameside is working in partnership with Teaching Personnel to recruit an enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant to support Maths and English Interventions in school. The school is easily accessible from Manchester Piccadilly. This role is perfect for a candidate looking to gain more experience in school before becoming a teacher. The successful candidate will take small groups to raise pupil attainment and use Assessment for Learning (AfL) techniques to assess pupil progress and understanding. The school is extremely supportive so candidates will learn how to assess, mark and deliver lesson plans to small groups and whole class settings if they feel confident.

The school, graded 'Good' by OFSTED, has a very welcoming atmosphere as soon as you walk through the door. The right candidate will learn every aspect of a Teaching Assistant role and will have the opportunity to observe teachers in the classroom.
