Graduate Teaching Assistant

This Graduate Teaching Assistant position is the ideal role for a recent graduate looking to gain invaluable experience within a secondary school setting before embarking upon a teacher training programme. 

- Full-time Graduate Teaching Assistant role, to start in September 2021 (or sooner)

- 'GOOD' OFSTED school

- Graduates of Maths, English, Science, MFL and Humanities (other specialisms will be considered)

- Some experience with children and young people is desired but not essential

- Fylde based secondary school

- Role available initially until the end of the academic year (July 2022)

The school are welcoming applications from graduates of all experience levels, and will provide additional CPD and training throughout the position. The role will include working with students in class across Key Stage Three and Four, monitoring behaviour and providing intervention sessions for those students who are not currently meeting their target grades in particular subjects.

Situated in Preston, the school can easily be reached via the all major motorway links. For non drivers, there are a range of public transport links from central Blackpool and Lytham, with a 5 minute bus journey from the train station.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
