Graduate Teaching Assistant

A client primary school in the Longsight area of Manchester (M13) is looking for a Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their enthusiastic staffing team on a full time basis. The role will start as soon as all the necessary vetting checks have been completed. The ideal candidate will hold a degree in a core subject and will have prior experience working with primary aged children.

The successful candidate will deliver small group/1:1 intervention sessions to children across KS1 and KS2 in literacy and maths in preparation for the end of year SATS. The school are looking for a candidate who will be able to plan and assess their own interactive intervention sessions under the teacher's instructions, whilst moving children on with their learning. Experience working with children in an educational capacity would be beneficial but isn't essential.
