Bolton - Graduate Teaching Assistant

Full time and part-time Graduate Teaching Assistants required within a number of Secondary schools in Bolton. Positions available with an immediate start date.

Working through Teaching Personnel, you will have access to a number of Graduate Teaching Assistant positions within Secondary schools in Bolton and surrounding areas such as Salford, Bury and Wigan.

This is the perfect opportunity for Graduates who are looking to gain experience within a Secondary school setting in preparation of a teacher training course in the future.

• Graduate Teaching Assistants required for a number of Secondary schools in Bolton
• Experience working with students aged between 11-16 is preferable however not essential
• Competitive rates of pay - you can expect to earn between £1000-1200 a month
• Both full time and part-time positions available

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will be working in Secondary schools providing support to the class teacher and assisting pupils during class, helping them if required. You will gain invaluable experience which will support future teacher training applications. You will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced class teachers who will look to pass on there knowledge and provide support when necessary.

Roles whilst working within our schools;

• General Teaching Assistants - Supporting the class teacher and assisting pupils with work
• 1:1 intervention and tuition - Providing specific catch up for students who need additional support with their studies
• Small group intervention - Leading intervention sessions for small groups to bridge the gap between them and their peers
• General lesson cover - Covering lessons in the absence of the class teacher delivering pre-set work

Whilst working for Teaching Personnel, you will have access to a number of training and CPD courses through our partner schools, where you will be able to develop skills that will help you become an 'outstanding' teacher of the future.
