Graduate teaching assistant

Teaching Personnel are looking for a Graduate Teaching Assistant to start on the 3^rd of October and attend schools in the area of Trafford. The successful applicant would need to be flexible and motivated towards travelling to our partnered secondary schools in the area stated. This is a great opportunity for the graduate to enhance their skillset. The graduate can be from any subject of degree, we are looking for someone who has a desire to gain knowledge and experience working within our partnered schools and increasing their knowledge, teaching practices and networking.

The breakdown of the role as follows:

• To be flexible and a desire to increase their experience and knowledge traveling to different schools in their area.
• To have a passion for development towards students and themselves.
• Be confident in 1-1 and small group sessions, facilitating students learning to drive them towards their targets.
• Be the support system for the teacher of the class.
• A degree of any subject.
• To be reliable, motivated, and contactable to help you gain the experience you need through diary management and contact with TP.

All secondary schools we work with in the Trafford area have accessible transport links such as bus routes and Metrolink’s including a car park for anyone traveling by car.

 The school have a great, inclusive support system for all new members of staff helping the schools educate and take care of all the students in attendance. You will have access to the staff rooms and any resources needed to support the student’s education on a 1-1 or small group basis with the main teacher’s supervision.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
