The Role
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will play an integral role in supporting teaching and learning across the school.
You will:
- Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
- Provide targeted academic and pastoral support to students in small groups or one-to-one.
- Help create an inclusive and positive learning environment.
- Develop your understanding of effective teaching practices.
- Take part in professional development sessions and prepare for progression into teacher training.
This position offers an excellent balance of practical classroom experience and structured training, ensuring you are fully prepared to begin your teacher training programme.
About You
We are looking for graduates who are:
- Educated to degree level (any discipline considered).
- Passionate about education and committed to pursuing a teaching career.
- Strong communicators with good interpersonal skills.
- Adaptable, resilient, and eager to learn.
- Enthusiastic, motivated, and ready to make a difference.
Experience working with young people is beneficial but not essential — full training and support will be provided.
