Are you an English, Linguistics, Psychology or a Speech and Language graduate? Do you have the knowledge to effectively support young pupils with communication difficulties?
Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a Primary School in the Bradford area who require a Teaching Assistant to support several KS2 pupils with communication difficulties. The school would ideally like to appoint a recent graduate Teaching Assistant or an individual with a minimum of 6 months experience working with SEN.
A successful applicant will be:
- English, Linguistics, Psychology or a Speech and Language Graduate
- Ability to support pupils with communication and language issues
- Experience working with children with SEN requirements
- Phonics trained
- An energetic and enthusiastic individual
- Have a DBS on the Update service or be willing to have one
- Valid Passport
Teaching Personnel work in partnership with a variety of leading, nationally recognised CPD providers, such as National Association of SEN, National Autistic Society, Ruth Miskin, Team Teach, Educare, Creative Education, and Leeds Trinity University.
These partners deliver an extensive range of career developing opportunities to you, covering areas such as; Accredited Team Teach, Understanding and Supporting Children and Adults on the Autism Spectrum, An Introduction to Special Educational Needs and Disability and many more.
