Graduate Teaching Assistant - 4 Vacancies -Full Time - Cardiff

*Teaching assistant in Cardiff *

*Secondary school role - Starting September 2019*

*Working with pupils that need additional learning support*

*Ideal role for graduates looking to become Teachers, Intervention Tutors, Education Psychologists, mental health/Youth support workers*

*Up to £60 per day - dependant on qualifications, references and experience*

A modern Cardiff Secondary School with easy transport links from the M4 are seeking degree level educated teaching assistants confident in supporting pupils for 4 roles starting in September. Alongside providing support in the mainstream school this school provides education for pupils that are in need of additional learning support.

This teaching assistant role consists of supporting secondary aged pupils across KS3 - KS4 and with students completing GCSEs; successful candidates must be confident in academic support and able to engage young people in learning. Your personality will be a key factor to you being successful in this role, the school are looking for individuals that have the ability to build relationships quickly with a positive outlook on the challenges a school may throw at you.

Requirements:

  • Degree educated
  • A-C GCSE in Maths & English
  • Experience/interest supporting secondary aged pupils
  • Commitment to 8:30 - 3:30/4:00pm hours Mon - Fri
  • Confident in academic and social support of pupils
  • Sport, Psychology or Educational background would be desirable
  • Committed to long term temporary and permanent placement
