Graduate Teacher Training Programme – Fully Funded and Salaried Route in Bournemouth
Are you a graduate with a passion for teaching and a desire to make a difference in education? We’re offering a fully funded teacher training programme in Bournemouth, designed to give you hands-on experience and professional training, leading to a PGCE qualification, all while earning a salary.
Programme Overview:
- Position: Graduate Teacher Training Programme
- Location: Bournemouth
- Start Date: September 2025
- Salary: £21,000 to £24,000 per annum
- Funding: Fully funded, salaried route
- Duration: 2 years
In the first year, you’ll gain classroom experience as a Cover Supervisor. In the second year, you’ll progress to Initial Teacher Training (ITT) and work towards your PGCE, all while staying in the same school or trust.
What You’ll Do:
- Year 1:
- Work full-time as a Cover Supervisor, assisting teachers, supporting students, and leading classroom activities.
- Develop skills in classroom management, student engagement, and teaching strategies.
- Year 2:
- Begin your ITT, continuing to work in the same school or trust.
- Receive ongoing mentorship and support while working towards your PGCE qualification.

Required Qualifications:
- A degree in any subject (preferably 2:1 or higher)
- GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above)
