Graduate Teacher Internship

An opportunity has arisen for graduates who are aspiring to become teachers in the future. This presents an amazing chance for those who may lack classroom/teaching experience, to be able to fully immerse  themselves within a school environment. Furthermore, we encourage applicants who may already have some school experience to also apply.   Whether it be ‘in class’ subject support, or assisting students with additional needs, the programme allows a vast array of experience to be gained across the school.

On this Graduate Teacher Internship, the applicant will have the opportunity:

• To work as a Teaching Assistant, supporting students with SEN as well as those requiring additional support based on progression rates.
• To work as a Cover Supervisor – covering lessons for absent staff, gaining invaluable classroom experience, monitoring large class sizes.
• The chance to shadow full time teaching, developing teaching methods and key factors such as Behaviour Management tactics.
• Run extra curricular activities, as well as receiving consistent training from the school

The Graduate required will need to display a patient yet confident demeanour, and will be able to develop rapport with students quickly.

The role will commence in April 2021.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
