SEN Teaching Assistant – Wirral (Good Ofsted Partnership School)

Teaching Personnel is seeking committed and professional SEN Teaching Assistants to join a well-regarded, Good Ofsted-rated partner school located in the Wirral. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting young people with additional needs and contributing to a positive, inclusive learning environment.
Role Overview
Successful candidates will work closely with pupils who require additional support, both on a one‑to‑one basis and within small group settings. Responsibilities will include:
- Providing tailored one-to-one support to pupils with special educational needs
- Delivering structured small group interventions
- Assisting the class teacher with differentiated learning activities
- Supporting the wider classroom environment to promote engagement and progress
Candidate Requirements
Applications are encouraged from:
- Individuals with previous experience working in schools or supporting pupils with SEN
- Graduates seeking valuable school-based experience prior to pursuing teacher training, educational psychology, or similar career pathways
- Candidates who demonstrate strong communication skills, patience, and a commitment to helping pupils achieve positive outcomes
A proactive and professional attitude is essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
