Teaching Personnel's 'Future Teachers' program affords graduates the opportunity to gain experience in schools all over London and develop professional skills through CPD courses and Teacher Training.

**Future Teacher - North East London**

**Future Teacher - Canary Wharf, Ilford, Enfield, Dagenham, Islington and Westminster**

The Journey

You will begin your journey as a teaching assistant/cover supervisor (£65 - £75 a day) - helping in a variety of roles within a school to gain skills and experience in an education environment. After a successful 20 week period, you will officially begin your teacher training (likely increase in salary due to AWR)!

To help you along the way; Teaching Personnel and the schools we work in offer a range of CPD courses to candidates. These are offered to help you grow in your profession and shape the future for next generation. Teaching Personnel also have a great relationship with Catholic schools across the UK. Catholic schools boast reputations for their well behaved students and high attainment at GCSE and A-Level. There really is no better place to begin your teaching career!

Schools are seeking graduates who are motivated to succeed and pursue a career in teaching. You will be a reliable individual and show a real passion for education, as well as a willingness to learn. All you need is;

  • A degree in any specialism. - Essential.
  • Experience working in a school. - Advantageous
  • Experience working in care. - Advantageous
  • Experience in Education (School/Tutoring/Support). - Advantageous

These well-run secondary schools have a strong and cohesive senior leadership who understand the need for training their own staff and are eager to meet any graduate who has aspirations of becoming a qualified teacher in the future. There is a long history of successfully developing graduates into confident and capable professionals in the classroom. They will show you how to develop the knowledge and skills you have acquired as a graduate into effective and engaging classroom practice.
