A highly regarded secondary school in Rochdale is currently seeking a Graduate on a full time basis to join their cover team from Easter. This position will be on a flexible basis until the end of the academic year.

The incoming graduate will be expected to cover pre-planned lessons in the absence of the teacher, provide feedback to the classroom teacher on the performance of all student and provide support where needed. This is an excellent opportunity for you to develop your classroom presence and behaviour management skills, alongside giving you an in-depth knowledge of different strategies to implement for behaviour and learning.

Situated in the semi- rural setting of Wardle, Rochdale our client secondary school is easily accessible via the M60 & M62 and for those who don't drive there is a range of public transport links a 15 minute walk from the school. In recent years the school have restructured their behaviour management policies which have effectively had an overall improvement on the student attitude to learning.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
