Are you passionate about education and eager to embark on a rewarding journey towards becoming a qualified teacher? Teaching Personnel is currently looking for graduates to join our Salaried Teacher Training Programme, commencing in September 2024!

Location: Manchester and Salford.

The Opportunity:

We are seeking enthusiastic individuals who are committed to making a positive impact in the lives of students. This comprehensive programme offers an invaluable one-year cover supervisor placement, providing hands-on experience in the classroom before transitioning to a salaried Teacher Training placement. Under the guidance of experienced mentors and educational professionals, you will have the opportunity to develop essential skills, gain practical teaching experience, and work towards achieving Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the delivery of lessons across a range of subjects as a cover supervisor.
  • Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a conducive learning environment.
  • Support students’ academic progress and personal development.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to plan and deliver engaging lessons.
  • Reflect on your practice and actively engage in professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • A passion for education and a desire to pursue a career in teaching.
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Resilience, adaptability, and a positive attitude towards learning.
  • The ability to pass an enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
