We are looking for graduates who are enthusiastic about teaching and inspiring young people.  We will support you and provide you with the experience to further develop your teaching career. We are determined to ensure that all our students reach their full academic potential and develop the skills and personality to lead successful lives.

We support Graduates with our Future Teachers Programme, which involves a variety of training opportunities for you to undertake whilst enrolled as a Cover Supervisor at a School for the academic year, with the opportunity to start teacher training with the school the following academic year. 

You should have achieved, or be on course to achieve, a 2:2 or above in your undergraduate degree. Whilst previous experience of supporting young people in their education is great, what really matters is your ability to engage with young people and create excellent learning environments for them.

You should also have a passion for your subject and a strong commitment to develop your professional practice. We also need you to have a high standard in both your literacy and verbal communication skills.

  • A passion for educating children
  • Experience working with young people in a paid and/or voluntary capacity
  • Understand the need for flexibility and adaptability
  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • Have or be willing to apply for a child only DBS that is registered on the update service

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
