Do you have a passion to work with students in a school-based setting?

Are you a recent graduate and aspire to become a teacher or education psychologist?

If so, Teaching Personnel are working with the Inclusion manager at a well respected secondary school to support them with the recruitment of a recent graduate/Behaviour Mentor for the rest of the academic year.

• Graduate Behaviour Mentor - Bolton based secondary school
• Required to start at the earliest convenience
• Competitive pay in the region of £1000 - £1200 per month.
• Temporary employment for the remainder of the academic year.
• Training and CPD to be provided by Teaching Personnel and the school.

As a Behaviour Mentor, your role will be to work with students that have been identified to have challenging behaviour, helping students overcome their behavioural issues, whilst acting as a role model and someone to look up to. If you are someone who has the ability to think on your feet and stay calm whilst dealing with challenging situations, you would be very well suited to this Behaviour Mentor role. Previous experience working alongside young learners aged 11-16 is desirable but not essential.

The school that are seeking to appoint for this role currently has around 900 pupils on roll. (Smaller than the average Secondary school in the area.) Located on the outskirts of Bolton and is just a short drive away from the M61. There are an abundance of public transport links in the area giving staff easy access to the surrounding areas Bury, Salford, Wigan and Manchester.
