Geography Teacher in Preston

Introduction to Teaching Personnel:

The role:

Start date: 1st April 2019

End date: 26TH July

Full time: 5 days a week

Pay rate: From £570 - £800 per week!

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a Catholic Secondary Schools in the Preston area. The school is smaller than average, creating a family atmosphere and strong relationships between Staff and Pupils. The school was recently Ofsted graded 'Good' in all areas, with an overwhelming number of parents endorsing the school through the OFSTED online survey saying how safe and well taught their children are at the school. We have constant feedback from our Teachers saying "the kids of great!" and "I've really enjoyed it, I would love to go back."

You will teach Geography across KS3 and KS4, until June 2020, as you will be covering a maternity leave. You must have at least 1 year of experience of teaching.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and delivering quality Geography lessons
  • Linking lessons with the use of challenging homework
  • Marking and providing relevant feedback on completed work

This position is subject to an Enhanced Child Only DBS check and must be registered with the Update Service (assistance provided).

Ideally you will have:

  • Experience teaching KS3 and KS4.
  • Be able to supply at least 2 education/school based references.
  • Have a professional and flexible attitude inline with Teaching Personnel.
  • Teaching Personnel are committed to helping NQT's and will encourage to apply.
