Our client secondary school situated in the Tameside area are looking to recruit a motivated and confident Geography teacher to cover a maternity leave starting in September.

"We require a Geography teacher to join our thriving Humanities department for the duration of the 219-2020 academic year starting on Monday 3rd September. We are accepting applications from newly qualified teachers as well as those who are more experienced. The successful Geography teacher will be teaching KS3 primarily with a few classes of KS4 and will receive full support from our helpful department.

Being a part of our school is something we are proud of and expect the successful teacher of Geography to become a part of the team whilst teaching with us for the duration of this maternity cover." - Head of Humanities.

As advised by the Head of Humanities, the school require a good teacher to join this excellent school and ensure learning is of the highest standard in the final term. The teacher of Geography can be a NQT, fully qualified teacher or an existing supply teacher with the ability to teach Geography on a full time basis.

  • Pay in line with MPS/UPS dependent upon experience (£23,720 - £39,406)
  • Work within a highly supportive Humanities department where each member of staff (supply and support included) is a valued member of the team
  • Work within a 'Good' secondary school in the Tameside area
  • Full time maternity cover for the duration of the 2019 - 2020 academic year

The school is a state of the art secondary school which prides itself on delivering modern and great teaching to all students. They therefore, have high expectations of all members of the school community including teachers.

The school is based in the Tameside area on the East side of Greater Manchester, very easily accessible from any of the surrounding areas such as Stalybridge, Dukinfield, Ashton-Under-Lyne or even further afield. The M67 and M60 motorway networks are very nearby making this school easy to get to for any car drivers.
